May 24th 1976 was a historic day for California wine. Known as the Judgement of Paris,  California wines unexpectedly outperformed top French wines, reshaping the global wine industry. This year marks the 50th anniversary of that fateful tasting and in the spirit of that day, we will be hosting our very own Judgement of BC.

Much like the original tasting, we’ll be showcasing Chardonnay and Bordeaux-style wines—this time with a fun twist. We’ll blind-taste British Columbia wines against top examples from both California and France.

The event will take place in our intimate cellar, with seating limited to just 30 guests. We’ll begin by blind-tasting BC Chardonnays and BC Bordeaux-style blends. The winner in each category will then advance to face their French and California counterparts in a second blind round.

At the end of the evening, there will be clear winners… though whether it’s BC, California, or France remains to be seen. Win or lose, it’s sure to be a fun and memorable experience for everyone involved.

Saturday May 23rd 4-7pm $95 per person.

Snacks will be served in between the first and second round of blind tasting
